Imagine
Heaven.
Imagine
being in Heaven.
What
shall we do?
We
shall love.
We
shall be kind to one another.
We
shall take care of one another.
How
shall we feel?
We
shall feel -- we shall know -- that everything is fine just the
way it is.
We
shall see God’s plan for the universe and for each moment and, even if it is
beyond our ken, we shall trust in God’s will and power and love.
Shall
we be blind to the wounds and deaf to the cries of the injured and the sick,
of
the lonely and the frightened,
of
the hungry and the powerless in the physical world?
No,
we shall not.
We
shall understand, however, how each person and his or her experiences reflect
the will of God
and
we shall gladly do whatever we can to serve and support those in need.
And all this is God’s
gift to us today.
