I pray for my friends, today
particularly Hobie and Jean Mitchell. I hold them, perhaps clumsily, in such
Light as is given to me. I ask God to be
with them, to comfort them, and to give them health, peace and joy.
Today,
the answer to my prayer is this:
Did you think that I am ever not with those for whom you pray?
Did you think that I ever neglect to comfort them?
Do you not trust that I always give them such health, peace and
joy as keeps them with Me, or brings them to Me?
And,
knowing these things, do you also know how the sight of a smiling face, the
sound of a friendly voice, or the touch of a loving hand.
