Perhaps
Jesus's greatest gift was – is – his demonstration of what is possible for a
human being to do. He even said, “Everything I do, each of you can do.” [John 14:12]
Martin Luther King, Jr., is another person who so lived as to show what
a human being can do.
Each day, each moment, we must choose. Shall we admire and honor such
extraordinary examples of humanity, but not follow their example? Or shall we,
too, so live that we are the best examples we can be of what a human being can
do?
