If
we believe that there is that of God in every person, what are we doing when we
worship together? I do not think we are
just praising, honoring, and giving thanks to an all-enveloping Power that is
separate from us. We are nourishing,
supporting and revering that of God in each other. We are recommitting ourselves to the
awareness, development and expression of that of God in ourselves.
